Rules of Play

KIDSPACE RULES OF PLAY

Please observe the following rules to ensure that everyone has a safe and happy time.

Adults must remain on the premises at all times with the child/children under their care.

By entering Kidspace, you are agreeing to abide by the following rules and failure to do so could lead to ejection.

1. Keep A Watchful Eye

Parents or guardians must remain on the premises and accept full responsibility of children in their care at all times.

2. Help! They’re Lost

If you accidentally lose your child, ask one of the team and we will help to find them quickly.

3. Ouch! Help!

Please inform us if your child has any sort of accident, however minor so a trained first aider can take a look.

4. Dressed to Play

We want everyone to have a great time, so be dressed ready to play; we recommend long sleeves and trousers, no watches, jewellery or high heels and take extra care if you wear glasses or hearing aids.  As for footwear – that’s easy – padded soft play areas are shoes off and socks on everywhere else is shoes on!!

5. Helping The Little Ones

Under 5’s must be accompanied by a grown up on the main play frame. It’s a ‘one size fits all’ design and a great place to spend quality family time together.

6. I’m Stuck

Kidspace is a gum free zone & please don’t drop litter.

7. Feeling Peckish?

We have a full restaurant and liquor license for your enjoyment and you are not permitted to bring your own. Our food and drink is very tasty.

8. A Place To Play – A Place To Eat

The eating areas are kept away from the play equipment to avoid slips, trips, choking and mess. Please keep food and drinks in the designated restaurant areas.

9. Better Safe Than Sorry

We cannot accept liability for loss or theft of any personal items (even if kept in the lockers). Try to leave valuables at home.

10. Polite Little Angels

Excitable children and grown-ups too, can sometimes forget their P’s and Q’s; at Kidspace we want everyone to respect each other's diversity and uniqueness. Please be mindful of how you and your children interact with those around them. Disrespectful and abusive behavior towards others could result in being asked to leave.

11. Age Friendly

We realise that children at dissimilar ages play differently. We have therefore provided separate age appropriate zones. For everyone’s safety please adhere to all age and height restrictions. Kidspace is best suited for age 12 and under.

12. Fun But Fair Play

All our play equipment is designed for maximum fun, and has passed stringent requirements by the Play Inspection Company and therefore we cannot be held responsible for accidents that may occur as a result of playing on our equipment.

13. Children, How Many Can You Cope With

One is sometimes enough, we allow you as many as four. Our permissible limit of one adult to four children means that in our challenging, adventurous ‘Activity Park’ you can always maintain your duty of care to the children.

14. Exercise In Disguise

Kidspace has created an ‘Activity Park’ for kids to enjoy and get lots of exercise; we want them to burn calories on the equipment, but not by running around the Centre.
